A woman of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Mrs. Olushola Olonade, has shared an inspiring testimony of how she welcomed quadruplets at the age of 50 after getting married for the first time at 48.
Determined not to experience another prolonged wait for motherhood, she said she prayed earnestly for God to bless her with children soon after her wedding.
Narrating her pregnancy experience, she disclosed that doctors initially informed her during an ultrasound scan that she was carrying twins. A subsequent scan suggested triplets before another examination eventually revealed she was expecting four babies.
“I waited for my husband, and I told God I didn’t want to wait again for children,” she said while recounting her testimony before the congregation. She added that after doctors kept increasing the number of babies seen during scans, she jokingly decided to stop going for further scans, fearing they might discover even more.
Mrs. Olonade safely delivered two boys and two girls on March 6, 2026—just three weeks before celebrating her 50th birthday on March 31.
She also noted that multiple births run in her family, revealing that several relatives, including an aunt, had previously given birth to twins, making the news of her quadruplets even more extraordinary.
Expressing gratitude, she thanked God for preserving both her life and that of her babies throughout the pregnancy and delivery.
Her testimony, which has since gained widespread attention on social media, has inspired many Nigerians, with several congratulating the family and describing the birth as a testament to hope and perseverance.
